  • Industry-Led Geofencing Project Kicks Off Support for Next Generation 6 GHz Unlicensed Devices

WInnForum launches a new effort to define and test Geofenced Variable Power (GVP) device capabilities and incumbent protection

The launch of the GVP Task Group represents an exciting expansion of the 6 GHz Committee’s work in enabling spectrum sharing through practical, industry-driven standards.”
    — Peter Young, Comsearch, An ANDREW Company

WASHINGTON, DC, UNITED STATES, March 18, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Wireless Innovation Forum (WInnForum), a leading industry body advancing innovation and interoperability across the radio spectrum, announces the launch of a new Geofenced Variable Power (GVP) Device Task Group. The effort follows the FCC’s recent authorization of a new device class that will first be deployed in the 6 GHz band.

The Task Group is co chaired by Richard Bernhardt (WISPA) and Masoud Olfat (Federated Wireless) and will focus on developing the technical and operational standards and best practice foundations required to ensure that GVP devices can operate safely and effectively in the band. The group’s mandate includes:
    • Defining requirements for GVP systems and devices according to FCC rules
    • Developing incumbent and environmental databases
    • Creating test plans and test vectors for the geofencing system
    • Building a test harness to validate geofencing functionality

“The FCC’s authorization of geofenced variable power devices opens the door to new ways of using the 6 GHz band,” said Masoud Olfat, WInnForum’s Chief Regulatory Officer and co chair of the GVP Task Group. “By bringing industry leaders together to define requirements and testing frameworks, this Task Group will help ensure that innovation moves forward while maintaining strong protections for incumbent services.”

“Drawing on the Forum’s broad and diverse domestic and international membership, including several licensed incumbents in the 6 GHz band, ensures broad technical expertise and stakeholder representation,” added WInnForum Chair, Richard Bernhardt.

WInnForum’s 6 GHz Committee serves as the primary industry body responsible for studying and specifying sharing arrangements for unlicensed operations across the 6 GHz band (5925–7125 MHz). The Committee has played a key role in developing standards and providing technical inputs that informed the FCC’s 6 GHz rulemaking. It also coordinated extensive testing and trial activities using test vectors created jointly by WInnForum and the Wi Fi Alliance.

“The launch of the GVP Task Group represents an exciting expansion of the 6 GHz Committee’s work in enabling spectrum sharing through practical, industry-driven standards,” said Peter Young, Chair of the WInnForum 6 GHz Committee. “We appreciate the FCC’s leadership in creating the opportunity for geofenced variable power operations and look forward to supporting the development of the GVP ecosystem through collaborative technical work across the industry.”

Automated Frequency Coordination (AFC) Systems manage standard power unlicensed access in the 6 GHz band. Their implementation opened 850 MHz of spectrum for unlicensed standard power use while ensuring that incumbent licensed services remain protected from harmful interference. Both AFC and GVP are spectrum management technologies designed to protect existing licensed users (incumbents) while allowing higher-power unlicensed access. GVP is engineered to support mobility, whereas typical AFC systems are designed for fixed-location operations. All published standards and technical documents related to AFC and 6 GHz are available at:
    https://6ghz.wirelessinnovation.org/work-group-products.

The GVP Task Group will be meeting at the Forum’s General Meeting 12-14 May, in Washington, DC. All are welcome to attend; you can register here: https://www.wirelessinnovation.org/87th-general-meeting-dc.

    — Author: Julia Liang, Co-Founder & CEO, DreamCollege.ai

    DALLAS, TX, UNITED STATES, March 18, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ —
DreamCollege.ai, an AI-powered college admissions intelligence platform, today announced the launch of DreamCollege.ai for Schools, a new solution designed to help schools deliver personalized college guidance at scale while expanding counselor capacity and improving student outcomes.

As college admissions becomes increasingly complex, many schools face a growing challenge: how to provide individualized support when counselors are often responsible for hundreds of students. DreamCollege.ai for Schools addresses that challenge through a powerful Human + AI approach that combines counselor expertise with AI-driven intelligence to support smarter decision-making across the college admissions journey. Unlike traditional college guidance platforms, DreamCollege.ai combines Human + AI with a system of specialized AI agents that help analyze student profiles, generate recommendations, and support decision-making at key stages of the process.

With DreamCollege.ai for Schools, students receive personalized guidance across the college admissions journey, from profile assessment and best-fit major selection to building a balanced college list and developing a strong, data-informed application strategy. At the same time, counselors can manage large caseloads through a centralized dashboard, blending AI insights with their professional judgment.

DreamCollege.ai for Schools helps schools and counselors:
    • Deliver more personalized support to every student
    • Empower counselors to support more students without burnout
    • Help schools improve college admissions outcomes at scale

Built for schools, it also includes:
    • Dedicated school instances
    • Scalable cloud infrastructure
    • Enterprise-grade security
    • FERPA compliance
    • Designed to work with school systems and workflows

“Schools are under growing pressure to deliver more personalized college guidance without adding more staff or resources,” said Julia Liang, Co-Founder and CEO of DreamCollege.ai. “DreamCollege.ai for Schools was built to help schools meet that challenge. By combining human expertise with AI intelligence, we empower counselors to scale their impact and help more students make smarter college decisions with confidence.”

This is not about replacing counselors. It is about amplifying counselor impact through Human + AI collaboration. For students, the platform turns complex admissions information into clear, actionable guidance tailored to their profile and goals. For counselors and school leaders, it provides a scalable way to extend support, reduce workflow burden, and improve outcomes across larger student populations.

DreamCollege.ai is built on the belief that the future of college admissions guidance is not human or AI alone, but Human + AI working together. The company’s mission is to make high-quality, personalized college counseling more accessible and effective for every student.

“Personalization at scale is one of the biggest unsolved challenges in college admissions,” Liang added. “We believe schools deserve a solution that helps them increase impact, improve efficiency, and better support every student’s future.”

DreamCollege.ai was recently named “College Admissions Tool of the Year” by the 2026 Worldwide EdTech Awards, recognizing its innovation and impact in college admissions guidance.

DreamCollege.ai will also showcase DreamCollege.ai for Schools at the SACAC 2026 Annual Conference in New Orleans, taking place March 22–23, 2026, where school counselors and educational leaders can learn more about how the platform helps schools scale personalized guidance.

  • Jason Ruedy Says Fort Collins Investors Are Turning to DSCR Loans for Rental Properties

Fort Collins Mortgage Expert Jason Ruedy “The Home Loan Arranger” Says DSCR Loans Are Helping Real Estate Investors Refinance and Consolidate Debt

Investors are looking for financing solutions that allow them to move quickly on opportunities”
    — Jason Ruedy

FORT COLLINS, CO, UNITED STATES, March 18, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Jason Ruedy, nationally recognized as “The Home Loan Arranger,” says a rising number of real estate investors across Fort Collins and Larimer County are utilizing Debt Service Coverage Ratio (DSCR) loans to refinance investment properties, consolidate expensive consumer debt, and improve overall portfolio cash flow. According to the Colorado mortgage expert, DSCR financing is emerging as one of the most flexible lending options available for investors seeking rental property financing without traditional income verification.

The DSCR loan program allows borrowers to qualify for Fort Collins investment property loans and refinancing based largely on the income generated by the rental property rather than the borrower’s personal income documentation. In many cases, investors do not need to submit W-2 forms, tax returns, or extensive employment verification typically required with conventional mortgage lending.

Instead of focusing on the traditional debt-to-income ratio, lenders evaluate whether the rental income from the property is sufficient to cover the monthly housing expenses associated with the loan.

“Many experienced real estate investors strategically reduce their taxable income through legitimate deductions, which can make qualifying for traditional mortgages more difficult,” says Jason Ruedy, The Home Loan Arranger. “DSCR loans allow the property itself to qualify for the loan based on rental income. This gives investors the ability to refinance investment properties, consolidate debt, and let rental income help support the mortgage.”

Leveraging Investment Properties to Reduce High-Interest Debt

Many investors in Fort Collins are now using DSCR cash-out refinance loans to unlock equity in their rental properties and restructure existing debt obligations.

By accessing equity in their Fort Collins investment properties, investors may be able to:

    • Pay off high-interest credit card balances
    • Combine multiple debts into one structured mortgage payment
    • Improve overall monthly cash flow across their portfolio
    • Reinvest equity into additional real estate investments
    • Simplify finances with one loan supported by rental income

“One of the biggest advantages of DSCR loans is the ability to refinance an investment property and often allow tenant rent to help cover the mortgage payment,” Ruedy explains. “This allows investors to convert higher-cost consumer debt into structured real estate financing backed by income-producing property.”

Fort Collins Real Estate Market Continues to Attract Investors

The Fort Collins housing market continues to attract real estate investors due to strong population growth, a thriving technology and education sector, and steady demand for rental housing throughout Larimer County.

As home values and rental demand remain strong across Northern Colorado, investors are increasingly exploring Fort Collins rental property financing and investment property refinance options to optimize their portfolios and generate long-term passive income.

According to Ruedy, DSCR mortgage financing has become one of the fastest-growing loan programs for real estate investors, short-term rental property owners, and self-employed borrowers who may not qualify under traditional mortgage guidelines.

“Investors are looking for financing solutions that allow them to move quickly on opportunities,” Ruedy says. “DSCR loans provide a flexible structure that allows investors to refinance rental properties, access equity, consolidate debt, and expand their portfolios without the traditional income documentation requirements.”

About Jason Ruedy — The Home Loan Arranger

Jason Ruedy, known nationally as “The Home Loan Arranger,” is a Colorado-based mortgage professional with more than 30 years of experience in residential mortgage lending, investment property financing, and mortgage refinancing. Ruedy consistently ranks among the top mortgage originators in the United States and specializes in helping homeowners and real estate investors develop mortgage strategies designed to maximize financial opportunity.

Through The Home Loan Arranger, Ruedy offers a variety of mortgage solutions including:

DSCR loans for real estate investors
    • Fort Collins investment property loans
    Rental property refinancing programs
    • Cash-out refinance mortgage options
    Debt consolidation mortgage strategies

  • California’s New Auto Insurance Minimums Now in Effect: What Orange County Drivers Need to Know About 30/60/15 Coverage

Irvine personal injury attorneys caution that many drivers remain underinsured despite higher state requirements

IRVINE, CA, UNITED STATES, March 18, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — With California’s increased auto insurance minimum requirements now more than a year into effect, Orange County car accident lawyers at Kubota & Craig are urging local drivers to review their policies and understand what the new 30/60/15 minimums mean for their financial protection in the event of a collision.

Effective January 1, 2025, California raised mandatory minimum liability coverage from 15/30/5 to 30/60/15 — the first increase in nearly two decades. While the new minimums represent meaningful improvement, they remain well below the actual cost of a serious motor vehicle accident.

“We regularly handle cases where medical bills alone exceed $100,000 or more,” said Cynthia Craig, founding partner at Kubota & Craig. “Even at the new 30/60/15 levels, a driver who causes a multi-vehicle accident could leave victims with hundreds of thousands of dollars in uncovered expenses.”

California now requires drivers to carry at least:
    – $30,000 per person for bodily injury liability
    – $60,000 per accident for bodily injury liability
    – $15,000 for property damage liability

While these figures represent a significant increase from the previous 15/30/5 requirement, Kubota & Craig attorneys note that a single serious car accident can easily generate $100,000 or more in medical expenses alone — leaving a coverage gap that falls directly on the victim.

Beyond the mandatory minimums, Kubota & Craig attorneys are urging Orange County drivers to consider uninsured/underinsured motorist (UM/UIM) coverage — protection that applies when the at-fault driver cannot pay for the full extent of a victim’s injuries.

“Minimum coverage protects the at-fault driver’s assets, not the victim’s medical expenses,” said Craig. “UM/UIM coverage is the protection that actually covers you when the other driver can’t pay. It’s one of the most important additions any California driver can make to their policy, and most people don’t carry it.”

They recommend reviewing current policies to confirm compliance with the new 30/60/15 requirements, and consider adding UM/UIM coverage to protect against underinsured drivers. They also want drivers to be aware that the minimum coverage protects the at-fault driver — not accident victims. They also point out that under California law, injured individuals have two years to file a personal injury lawsuit (CCP § 335.1), and just six months for claims involving government entities

Drivers and families with questions about coverage gaps — including those injured in accidents involving rideshare vehicles — can consult with Kubota & Craig’s Irvine rideshare accident attorneys for a free evaluation. Rideshare accidents often involve complex insurance layering between personal policies and platform coverage, making the 30/60/15 minimums question especially relevant for Uber and Lyft passengers and drivers.

Kubota & Craig founding partners Yoshiaki Kubota and Cynthia Craig have recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for personal injury victims across Orange County, including a $51.5 million motor vehicle accident result and a $14 million wrongful death settlement. Both attorneys are recognized by Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America. The firm offers free consultations in English and Spanish and operates on a contingency fee basis — clients pay no fees unless they recover compensation.

  • Astroline Introduces Dedicated Ethics, Limits, and Disclaimers Section to Promote Responsible Use of Symbolic Frameworks

Astroline adds Ethics & Disclaimers section to promote mindful, non-predictive use of symbolic self-exploration tools.

NY, UNITED STATES, March 18, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Astroline, the digital self-exploration platform combining astrology with tarot, numerology, and palmistry, unveiled a new prominent Ethics, Limits, and Disclaimers section today, formalizing its policies on service boundaries, data handling, and user responsibilities. The update clearly states that symbolic tools are positioned as optional aids for self-reflection on personal patterns – not as panaceas, scientific predictions, medical advice, financial guidance, legal opinions, or substitutes for professional counseling.

Accessible via a dedicated tab on the homepage and integrated into app onboarding, the section details Astroline’s commitment to transparency: explanations of interpretive methods, inherent limitations of esoteric practices, privacy protections under GDPR compliance, and directives to seek qualified experts for sensitive issues like mental health, physical wellness, investments, or legal disputes. This initiative addresses rising demand for clarity amid growing adoption of digital wellness and reflection apps, with internal data showing 65% of users seeking explicit guidance on appropriate use cases.

“Our ethics framework ensures symbolic exploration enhances rather than replaces rational processes,” said the Astroline team. “We proactively disclose that no tool – astrological or otherwise – guarantees outcomes, empowering users to engage mindfully.” Key elements include age restrictions (18+), prohibitions on dependency-forming language, and partnerships with mental health resources for referral. The section also outlines content moderation standards, avoiding sensationalism like “fate-changing” claims, in line with journalistic editorial guidelines.

This rollout coincides with broader industry shifts toward accountability in esoteric tech, following similar disclosures by platforms in meditation and personality assessment spaces. Astroline’s multi-framework approach remains centered on hypothesis-driven insights, blending traditional symbols with behavioral psychology prompts to aid decision-making without overreach.

    About Astroline
Astroline delivers personalized reports across birth charts, zodiac insights, tarot interpretations, palm analysis, and emerging symbolic tools, all framed for voluntary self-discovery and pattern recognition. The platform rejects predictive absolutes, maintains strict ethical boundaries, and urges professional consultation for health, finance, law, or therapy needs. • TraineryHCM Wins Recognition for Best Innovative, Emerging Tech Solution in Talent Development

The 2026 Lighthouse Tech Awards recognition reflects the strength of the TraineryLEARN solution and its differentiation in the market.

When you align employee development with business goals and connect the right data, learning stops being a function and becomes a catalyst for smarter decisions and meaningful growth.”
    — Mahesh Kumar, Managing Director

RALEIGH, NC, UNITED STATES, March 18, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — TraineryHCM™ has received the Finalist Award for Best Innovative or Emerging Tech Solution in Talent Development in the 2026 Lighthouse Tech Awards program. This recognition reflects the strength of the TraineryLEARN solution and the differentiation it brings to the market.

“TraineryLEARN delivers the features that you would expect from an enterprise LMS, with a twist – its integrated Training Management System (TMS) and Coaching Management System (CMS) differentiate it from many other enterprise learning platforms and make it useful for organizations that deliver training and/or coaching to their employees at scale,” said the Lighthouse Research & Advisory Awards Judging Panel.

The newly renamed Lighthouse Tech Awards program highlights HR technology companies serving employers and employees across North America, EMEA, and APAC. Formerly known as the HR Tech Awards, the program evolved this year to reflect its continued growth and influence across the global HR technology landscape. Now in its seventh year, the program recognizes solutions that support workforce hiring, development, performance, and retention.

TraineryLEARN replaces disconnected learning tools with a single system that manages training, coaching, credentials, and learning at scale. It tracks outcomes across all learning programs and modalities, providing a fully integrated view of skills training and the learning & development ecosystem.

While many vendors offer individual LMS or TMS tools, Trainery takes a new approach, viewing talent development as an integrated, rapid-growth ecosystem and a driver of business performance. The unified HCM foundation connects performance, pay, and growth, without silos or complexity.

“With TraineryLEARN, development ties directly to skill gaps surfaced in real performance data. Learning builds capability, capability improves performance, and performance informs compensation. This growth triangle elevates learning from operational tracking to a data-driven approach that turns employee development into tangible business outcomes,” shared Mahesh Kumar, Founder and Managing Director of TraineryHCM.

George Rogers, Chief Strategy Officer at Lighthouse, notes, “HR leaders are navigating constant change. Technology should simplify work, not add complexity. The Lighthouse Tech Awards spotlight providers that are building solutions employers can actually implement, scale, and trust. That clarity is more important than ever.”

“On behalf of our entire team, we are honored to be recognized for our innovative technology. This achievement reflects our commitment to meeting the real-world needs of clients,” said Kumar.

Lighthouse Tech Awards serve as a trusted signal in a crowded marketplace, helping technology buyers identify solutions with proven results and meaningful differentiation. Each submission is rigorously evaluated by an independent panel of practitioners, consultants, and educators to ensure measurable impact, innovation, and practical application in real-world environments.

In partnership with UNLEASH America, Lighthouse is recognizing winners during the UNLEASH America 2026 Conference in Las Vegas, March 17-19.

  • How Buyers Explore Homes Is Changing as Compass-Redfin and Keller Williams-Zillow Expand Focus on Search and Exposure

As industry partnerships emphasize listing visibility, The ReelMap introduces a discovery-based platform focused on how buyers engage before they search

The industry is fighting over who shows the listings. We’re focused on who shapes the decision before the search even begins.”
    — Robert Gomez, Founder of The ReelMap

SAN ANTONIO, TX, UNITED STATES, March 18, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The way buyers explore homes is evolving.

Recent industry developments — including the alignment of Compass and Redfin, along with Keller Williams’ collaboration with Zillow — reflect a continued focus on expanding listing exposure, pre-market visibility, and search-based distribution.

These initiatives are designed to increase reach and provide sellers with broader access to potential buyers.

At the same time, consumer behavior is shifting.

Today’s buyers are increasingly engaging with video content, neighborhood insights, and local exploration before defining specific search criteria.

The ReelMap, a real estate technology platform, is introducing a discovery-based model designed to support this earlier stage of the homebuying journey.

“Search remains an essential part of real estate,” said Robert Gomez, founder of The ReelMap.
“However, many buyers are spending more time exploring areas, communities, and lifestyle through video before they begin filtering listings.”

The platform enables real estate professionals to map video content to specific geographic locations, allowing buyers to experience homes, neighborhoods, and surrounding amenities through a visual, location-based interface.

Rather than existing only within social media feeds, content on The ReelMap is structured into a persistent, map-based format that can be revisited and explored over time.

“Video continues to play a growing role in how properties are presented,” Gomez said.
“What is evolving is how that content is organized and how long it remains accessible.”

The ReelMap allows agents and brokerages to build a library of geo-tagged content, including property tours, neighborhood overviews, and local business highlights, all tied to specific locations.

As artificial intelligence and search platforms continue to expand access to listing data, platforms that provide context, perspective, and localized insight are becoming increasingly relevant in the decision-making process.

“In a digital environment where information is widely accessible, context becomes more valuable,” Gomez said.
“Buyers are not only evaluating properties — they are also evaluating the experience of living in a place.”

According to the company, brokerages that adopt structured video discovery early may strengthen how their markets are presented online over time.

“As more content becomes available, the way it is organized will play an important role,” Gomez said.
“Early adoption may help brokerages establish a stronger presence in how their local market is explored by future buyers.”

The ReelMap is currently onboarding agents and brokerages across multiple markets, with a focus on building location-based video ecosystems that support both buyers and real estate professionals.
